KOO opened in 2017 aiming to bring high end seasonal cocktails, wines and gins to Westhoughton. In 2020 we won our first award at the Food & Drink Awards for “Best Upscale Gin & Cocktail Bar – North West”. We aim to provide personable, exemplary service and acclaimed cocktails. Cocktails should always be made with fresh fruit, top shelf alcohol brands, care and attention which many other bars sadly do not do. We can guarantee will never use cheap alcohol, frozen fruit or pre-mixes in our cocktails.

Alongside this we’ve also brought our love of gin and wine to the forefront, bringing you an extensive selection to sample. .
In 2020, we launched our brand new upstairs lounge to boost seating capacity and add an additional toilet. No more unisex toilet, we now have a brand new ladies toilet upstairs and a mens downstairs.
We have some more surprises to come when we re-launch in 2021 following our 7 month hiatus during the government imposed Coronavirus lockdown.
